Karen J. Landsman, Ph.D. is a leading psychologist in the treatment of anxiety disorders in children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Landsman received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Maryland at College Park. She received specialized training in cognitive-behavioral treatment during her internship and post-doctoral fellowship with Dr. Alan Bellack (a recognized leader in CBT) at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She continued her specialized training in treating anxiety disorders with Dr. Jonathan Grayson (a recognized leader in OCD treatment) and Dr. Lee Fitzgibbons at The Anxiety and Agoraphobia Treatment Center in Philadelphia. The Center has been recognized by a national panel of experts as having developed one of the most effective psychological treatments in the past 15 years. She is the co-author of Loving Someone with OCD: Help For You and Your Family published by New Harbinger Publications. Her book was nominated for the 2013 OCD Book Festival Award.
